So this post is more of a personal post because it is images of my son, but I thought it was imortant to post, because so often receive questions on what a "lifestyle" session is exactly.  To begin with, it's my favorite kind of session!  Why? Because it is me, capturing your little one or your family- RAW-- without poses or cheese smiles, without props, and without being in a location unfamiliar to you.  It is me, coming to your home or a location of your choosing and capturing the connection between you and your children , freezing in time the beauty of your every day LIFE.  I am hoping to move all of my sessions towards lifestyle sessions.  You will notice during even my outdoor family sessions this year, I will take a couple of posed, you looking at the camera, smiling shots, but the rest will be me capturing the connecting between you and your babies.

Below, you will see I photographed my youngest playing in his room.  Yes, I want those pictures where he is looking at the camera, but I also want the pictures of him discovering, examining and learning on his own.  I want records of then toys he liked to play with and the blanket (or actually in his case the sleep sack) he carries everywhere because it wont be long before he has grown up and moved on and these things which are so important to who he is now, are gone.
